Dr. Norman Detillieux

Doctor of Chiropractic

Norman is a playful and purposeful expression of service, presence, and healing energy. His passion is helping people connect to their innate potential, optimizing their energy and well-being.

Inspired early by his father avoiding invasive back surgery through regular chiropractic care, and later by his mother’s courageous healing journey through cancer, Norman has committed himself to the healing arts. He now walks alongside people as a guide, holding space for awareness and serving as a catalyst for connection. His approach is grounded in the relationship —between guide and participant—where gentle, mindful approaches support nervous system regulation and whole-person well-being.
Norman also leads workshops and community initiatives that spark participation, coherence and collective growth; creating environments where people can awaken to their own strength, resourcefulness and possibilities.

He has had the joy of serving the Nanaimo community for over 20 years. This is also home to his beautiful partner, Heather Lynne, who supports him (and us) in countless ways!

Heather Lynne believes in leaving every space — and every person — better than she finds them. With a heart for connection, she offers her presence, wisdom, and a warm hug to those who cross her path.

At The Lifehouse, Heather Lynne helps nurture a community where people feel seen, supported, and encouraged to grow into their fullest expression. Whether she’s sharing a smile at the front desk, guiding with insight, or simply listening with care, her purpose is to contribute in a way that uplifts and inspires.

​Her greatest joy is creating spaces of belonging, where people remember their wholeness and leave feeling lighter, brighter, and more at home within themselves.

Dawn believes in the power of connection and loves to greet each person with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. She delights in creating an atmosphere where people feel safe, welcomed, and encouraged as they step into their own journey of healing and possibility.

Having experienced profound transformation through NetworkSpinalTM entrainments and the many resources at The Lifehouse, Dawn knows firsthand the vitality, energy, and fullness of life that is possible. She joyfully shares her story and the enormous benefits she has received, inspiring others to discover what awaits them on their own path.

​For Dawn, being part of The Lifehouse is more than a role — it is a blessing. Supporting the team, cheering on practice members, and witnessing people awaken to their highest potential fills her with gratitude and purpose each day.

​Our Healing Oasis

The Lifehouse is a vitalistic healing centre that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere to its people.  It has been serving the Nanaimo community since 2005 and is conveniently located just off the Parkway, close to Buttertubs marsh.
​Step through the bamboo gates​ into our Healing Oasis and stroll through our living natural space that also includes a rose quartz labyrinth.  Pause, catch your breath and feel the energy.
